Peskov: Oil prices not key issue of Putin, Trump meeting
MOSCOW, Jul 4 (PRIME) -- The situation on the global oil market will not be the key issue of a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump, but it may be discussed, Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Wednesday.
“The issue is unlikely to be pivotal for the agenda, it can be said for sure. There are much more, so to say, urgent issues of bilateral relations, which will be primarily discussed. And it is a matter of available time whether the presidents will decide to devote to the topic,” he said.
The presidents will meet on July 16 in Helsinki.
